I am trying to identify a shell, 10.3x60. The ones I found on the net are a necked downed 10.3x60. The one that I have is not necked downed, it is like a revolver shell (38/357) straight cartridge. This shell does have the stamping 10.3x60 on it. Anybody know anything about these 10.3x60 rounds?

more info

This cartridge has the stamp of 10.3x60, but the real length is 75.7mm. Diameter is 10.62mm at the bullet end, 10.84mm at the other end. Shell lip is 10.564mm

What you may have is Unformed Blank Brass.
The 10.3x60 was a Swiss round used in the Martini rifles.

It is like buying unformed brass for 45/120 to be formed to chamber for a perticular rifle.
Or someone may have fire formed, or reformed the 10.3 casing to fit something else.
