Good afternoon members, I need some help locating Lapua 223 brass at a reasonable price and from a reputable supplier. I've done a search and all the suppliers I usually use for my reloading supplies are out of stock. There are a number of suppliers showing stock and offering it at a discount but I don't think they are legit suppliers. I'm moving away from range brass to single quality manufacturer to try and improve my shooting results. Sorting by head stamp just takes too long and requires too many different recipes. I appreciate any help anyone can give me for a reliable supplier with the product and stock.
Thanks

All I can do to help is to suggest that you monitor places like Powder Valley, Midway, Midsouth, Blue Collar Reloading, ect. It pops up as available every so often.

Many of those places offer a "notify me" option for when it comes available.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm looking for Lapua 222 brass!

Good Luck!

Thank you. I'm not familiar with blue collar

I don’t at all recall which ones, but they did say they were discontinuing some cartridges… I wouldn’t think that would be one of them, but who knows

There are several good brass companies. If your shooting a bolt Norma is also good brass and available. Rws is also in the running but not as available. It's euro.

X-Reload and Prophet River both have them in stock right now.

Edit: I apologize, I forgot that I was on a US forum.
These are Canadian stores that cannot ship to the USA due to ITAR regulations.

You may get better results using the Lapua part number 4PH5003

Have you considered Alpha brass?
I have not personally used it but on the 6.5CM forums people claim it's just as good as Lapua.

There is also Peterson brass wich has great reviews on the hide.

You might consider posting your approximate location - state and relative distances to landmarks - so we can help you zero-in on sources. It’s possible someone has what you need sitting on a shelf somewhere.

I am in Virginia. Most of my purchases are shipped to my home. Local is not a factor. I have some new starline and I've separated a number of head stamps from previous trips to the range. I just made a decision to move forward with a single manufacturer for all my future loads. It's easier to anneal and keep good records for powder recipes/groups. After doing some research I decided on the Lapua. I'm in no hurry. If anyone stumbles across some in stock somewhere, keep me in mind and shoot me a message.
