Any suggestions? I've never used one, but would like to put one on a HD gun.

Insight's M6 and M6X look pretty nice.

The Glock GTL-21 looks good, maybe not quite as nice as the M6.

Are there any light with GREEN laser combinations out there?

Thanks,

Light/ Laser for Glock

Hello There:

We sell quite a few of the Insight M3X 125 lumen tactical lights for Glock 21/30/17/22/

they go for about 135 plus shipping / handling.

The M6 TACT Ill with laser goes for about 175 + tax. These lights are amazingly bright.

66' water depth/ adjustable beam quick release on and off. We even sell a small holster for it.

Give us a call if you would like to order one. Check out our website:

Thanks

i am not sure about who and what models are made with the green lasers but i know they are out there, and they are normally more expensive for some reason. i have an m6 on my hd gun and it is a great light it is nice and bright and the laser is used for dry fire practice, and is turned on when i am away for the wife to use. mine has hit the ground a few times. the light not the gun light together, and there are no issues, once on the dirt and once on concrete.

Laser Max green lasers

Hey there Matt at SOVEREIGN ARMS LLC HERE:

We sell a Laser Max green laser that attaches to pistols and rifles with tactical rails.:

Give us a call at (314)766-2220, or check out our website:

In your original post you spoke about the Mx6 which is the laser light combo I believe. I have sold several M3X tactical lights and have had many happy customers.

The Laser Max is green, however I'm not sure if they offer a green light laser combo.

Check their web link above and let us know when you are ready to order.

Thanks

The laser max is good quality and small. you can mount a green one and attach one of the rail mount lights to the rail on the laser max whenever you want it. I don't use that setup myself but I think I would like the laser to stay on the pistol and stay zeroed and the light to be removable. The whole attraction of the green laser is the improved daylight visibility anyway.

another great thing about the m6 that i forgot to mentuon is the amount of various guns that it fits on. my xd, my ruger p345, my 1911, h&k usp's, glocks etc.

FYI - I emailed Insight (makers of the M6X) and asked for a light with green laser. The kind lady replied that they will likely be releasing one in SEPTEMBER!

I personally am not impressed with the M series lights. I've seen multiple units melt because the incad bulbs got the polyer body too hot. Plenty of customers have also complained about the light falling off of their rail while shooting with the M lights.

Insight's new Procyon is a good light because they switched from polymer to aluminum and are using an LED instead of incad.

I like Laser Max's green laser, but I don't like the high price tag that accompanies the green laser. Green laser will be 4X more visible during daylight/outside conditions, but right now it's pretty expensive.

My son-in-law called CT about green lasers. Theye said they had no immediate plans to produce green lasers. Further looking on the net came up with the reasons below.

1. Green lasers are more complicated with multiple stacked filters and less robust because of this.

2. Green lasers are much less efficient because of how they convert the light therefore require a bigger power source or have significantly lower run times.

3. Green lasers are bright enough to compromise your night vision...especially if you catch a reflection of your beam. 4. Green lasers project a line back to the gun.

5. Green lasers, due to there stacked filter design have a very limited operating temperature range....something like 50-80 F degrees...more or less depending on the manufacturer of the laser device."]

It's going to take more R&D for me to go green. I've got four lasers. Three CT's and one Lasermax. CT's are far better in my opinion.

I have a streamlight TLR-2 for my glock 17 its the best handgun light I have used i love it although its not totally necessary and its a paint getting a holster for gun/light combos im trying to find someone who will trade a crimson trace grip and maybe a couple spare glock mags or somthing for it.

For laser/light combo, I went with the Streamlight TLR-2. I have had no problems with it at all on either my Glock 21 or my Glock 23.

For my carry guns, I have Crimson Trace.

TRL-2 comes with adapters to fit pretty much any rail (Pic, Glock, etc. )
