We have been using YILDIZ shotguns for our 4-H Shooting Sports program ever since Academy introduced them. With literally thousands of rounds in them in skeet, sporting clays, and trap, we are completely satisfied with them.Briley is the warranty repair service, and one simply cannot beat that. We have yet to have the first failure on any of them.
The quality of these guns is superior to many other o/u shotguns imported at 2 - 3 times the price. The 20 gauge is a skeet shooter's dream and the 12 is tops for both skeet and field.
One thing I have found, and this is the same caution I have on my Kemen competition gun: make sure the barrel selector is all the way to either side. If not fully engaged, there is a chance of "doubling" when the first barrel is fired. Jim Haynes, Shotgun Project Leader, Ft. Bend 4-H Field & Stream Club,
