Looking for MREs to pruchase

Folks, I haven't been able to find genuine US military MREs for purchase on the internet. Any one have a website URL??? BTW, I guess one can't buy "genuine" US military MREs, so I'm looking for the same packaging and menus, produced according to US Govt. regulations. Anyone?

well I can tell you this.. when I was watching the news, they showed a pallet of MRE's being given to refugees, and the boxes had a crescent moon shape on them.

Try your local military surplus but I'm hearing the authentic ones are hard to come by right now. Think about dehydrated stuff from ems or the like?

Find a friend in the military.

Military commissaries often sell individual and cased MREs to patrons authorized to shop there. I bought several cases at the Patrick AFB commissary prior to the hurricanes of 2004, and they were a godsend.

How long can MREs be kept in storage?

And do the packages have stamped dates when they were prepared?

Can I store MREs in a cold, damp location?

correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought that the crecent moon symbol has been standard on all or most of the US army issue food supplies for the last century or so.

I bought a case a while back and turn around time was something like 4 days.
