To swap A straight stock Marlin to pistol grip, you will need stock, lever and trigger plate.

The Uberti replicas with pistol grip are easy enough to procure and ought to do well in cowboy silhouette. Cimarron has a very good selection. This one came from Dixie Gun Works and was a shade under $1100. It has since been equipped with a Marbles tang sight and is a wonderful shooter.
Despite what some may thing, pistol grip stocks are period correct for leverguns. They were an extra cost option and the straight grip was always more popular. Although I find the pistol grip to be elegant, attractive and imminently more comfortable.
