Greetings,
I am in possession of a pre-WWII GL shoulder holster. A #7 with the subset 22A and 6-1/2.
Does anyone have a source for cross referencing the early GL holsters? Not the "modern" 3 digit system, but the earlier single and double digit system that matches holster numbers in the 0ld catalog.
Example: Catalog #40 shows 4 shoulder holsters. 5, 6, 7 and 10. You placed your order and specified you weapon and the holster you received typically had the main holster number above the manufacture mark with the sub-category (and barrel length) below.

I have looked high and low and cannot find anyone who knows how to decode the older GL holsters.
