As in like 35 yards???

Thats a fair distance for a pellet pistol. Hell thats a LONG way for me with a real handgun.

I can’t think of anything In your budget pistol wise. I know we have some members more familiar with some of the Chinese brands that might have something but again 35 yards is quite a bit of work for an air pistol especially CO2.

Maybe a Crosman 2400 series???

non CO2....

Diana LP8 comes to mind but that is like 2 bills.

I can’t imagine any PCP stuff is in budget especially with the fill needs.

Now an air rifle, heck yeah. Doable. Air pistol is gonna be a tall ask.

I shoot my dad's bb pistol at 30-35, and it's about a 1foor gun at that range. Most actual pellet pistols should hold a decent group tho they will be loopy.
A pumper like the 1377 or 1322 and the co2 22xx series will often hold under 1" at that range.

For you maybe. :).

Don’t you basically have to “mortar” them in there. What kind of hold over are you looking at?

Not really, the average pellet pistol should generate 350-400fps. That should be at most about a foot low at 30-35yds. Usually there are enough adjustments in the sights to hit dead on at those ranges.....tho if your using one of the "copies" they may not HAVE elevation adjustments.

The pumpers and a tuned 22xx will deliver closer to 500fps, and those those I zero at 30yds or so with about 1-2" vertical dispersion from point blank to 35yds or so.

The pumpers are also almost exclusively shot with optics. With opens I can pretty reliably hit a can, or my 5" diamond plate at 35yds, but not much better.

I got a Beeman P17 at a Walmart sale. $19.00. Doubt that price is available, but under $100.00 for sure. I shoot it in the basement and have a ball. Skunks don't like it either. It's accurate, but I do not know to what distance.
The P17 pumps once on cocking. Penetrates 3 issues of American Rifleman across the basement.

Have you thought of getting a single stroke piston pistol (SSP) or a pumper instead of a co2 caplet powered pistol? It'll be cheaper to shoot and you won't have to worry about finding co2 power caplets.

I have an old Beeman Hurricane I found at a garage sale for $10 a few years ago. It looked to be new in the box and did not appear to have even been fired.

I don't know how accuracy is on this pellet gun. I only dry-fired the pistol a few times as the 25 lb trigger was a perfect way to overcome a bad case of "chicken finger" I had at the time.

I bought a Crosman American Classic thru Amazon in early March for $54, they have since gone up in price. You specified CO2 and I own a higher dollar Walther pistol in CO2, I now prefer the pump up for shot to shot consistency.
One can also go to ridiculous lengths with these, as this HR member did, converting it to a shoulder mounted carbine, complete with steel receiver, shoulder stock, scope mount and 16 inch barrel. And just as easy restore to the original pistol.
