Looking for police surplus shotguns

Would anyone know any distributors, brokers, etc, who might have any older police shotguns in stock. For some reason I think I need one to keep my milsurps company. I found Summit gun broker, but he's out. On second thought, older would be best, but any used 18-19 inch barrel with a proven track record and an extended magazine would do. Please help, I really don't want a chinese copy, but may buy one just to see if I really like shooting these things. Appreciate all the help, guys, Scatterguns are a new world for me.

It's hard to find one with an extended magazine, you might be best off buying a new Police Magnum from a distributor.

I paid something like $450 for mine with a 20" rifle sight barrel with extended magazine.

I believe the LAPD is about to replace all of theirs with new.

Keep a good eye on Gunbroker.com. There are several dealers that carry police guns there regularly. Things have been kind of slow recently but you can get them for $250 and lower if you are willing to get 2 3/4 chambers. They come in all styles and grades. Sometimes you will see some on Auctionarms.com.

Watch the auctions and you will find anything from a mint condition 870 from the fifties without mag extension to an almost new fully tricked 870 that has been beat to heck.

CDNN had a bunch of police trade-ins a few months ago. They sold out in about a week.

I'd keep an eye on them.
