Has anyone owned or shot one of the airforce brand air rifles?

They look interesting to me and the barrels are made by lothar walther so i'm guessing that they must be of good quality.

Any input would be apreciated.

I owned a Talon SS model and sold it a few months ago to finance my growing AK addiction.

Overall, it's a good product for the price but there's some variance in the quality control. Some rifles will shoot well with any power setting or ammo, others will need to be fine tuned to give best performance. Mine needed alot of experimentation but eventually I had it figured out and was very happy with it. They can be exceptionally accurate, and mine was no exception. I achieved regular one hole groups at 25m once I got it figured out.

The end cap was pretty good at taking the bark from the muzzle when it fired. I installed a 24" barrel soon after buying it and had to switch back to the 12" shrouded version because it was every bit as loud as a rimfire to include the sonic crack. The pellets also penetrated my backstop with ease and went flying....somewhere downrange. I saw that as a problem living in suburbia. :)

There are other options out there that are more expensive but are also better quality overall. I saw the Talon as a good entry level adult PCP airgun and was happy with it. If I were to buy another tho it would be something else like an S400.

Hope that's helpful.
