I am looking for a commercial bullet lube for my cowboy action shooting. I shoot three calibers, .44-40, .44 Special and .45 Colt. all 200 grain lead bullets and all smokeless powders.
All of my loads are below 1000 FPS and are mild loads.
I am looking for a good groove lube that will help with the lead bullets.
I guess I don't really understand the theory of lubes very well.
At one time I did
quite a bit of shooting with black powder using bees wax and crisco and pure lead bullets. But this seems to be different with the Cowboy thing.
Any thoughts on the lube?
Oh yes, I will be pan lubing the bullets.
Thanks for looking.
