I'm interested in purchasing real working replicas of WWII guns. I do not have a class III license so I'm looking for semi auto variants. Any information you guys can share on where I can purchase copies of any of the following guns will be greatly appreciated.

MP40?
BAR?
Bren LMG?
STG 44?

Thanks!

I've seen semi-auto variants of the Bar, the BREN, and the Stg44, but the MP40 is going to be more difficult, since the barrel length is short enough that it would be a SBR in any case. Be prepared to spend several thousand dollars for each of these; Marstar offers semi versions of the MP40 and Stg, but I don't know if you'd be able to get the impport permits necessary to import them into the US; http://www.marstar.ca/gf-SSD/index.shtm

It is not a working replica, but there is a well made plastic MP.40 copy on the market, good enough to fool me at a few feet. The bolt moves and the magazine is removable.
I saw it at a gun show and was impessed, but didn't note the name of the maker.

I've seen the MP-40 done as a 'handgun' (the stock is welded in place) and the semi auto MP 44 has ben done by several makers.

Thing is the cost of these semi-autos is often in the THOUSANDS of dollars, and you could easily SBR a Kahr Thompson for under $1500 if it's legal in your state.

Buying ALL of them? Might as well do the paperwork and buy the real thing and get ONE in full auto.
