Hey All,

I am looking to sell my Ruger KP95DPR15. It is in very good condition. I bought it brand new in 2007. I have the case, manual, lock, two (2) 15 rd mags, mag loader, and two (2) new un-used mec-gar 15 rd mags in box.

I am only selling because I want a .45 acp now. Less than 500 rounds through it.

What would be a fair price to sell quickly? I am no expert in figuring out the condition of firearms.

I really want to sell for enough for a down payment on my new 45 but at the same time would love to put in the hands of a new owner for a good price.

Suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Well, you know how much you paid for the gun and accessories, and you know how much the down payment on your .45 will be. The gun is practically new so you should have a pretty good idea of the price. What more is there to say.

I'd say $350-$400 is a fair price. I paid $350 for a used good condition KP90DC in the box with four mags and I haven't looked back. I'd start out at $400 though to see if you can get that much. Keep in mind though, if you go to a dealer they may only give you $200 or some such lowball offer.

Ruger no longer makes the decocker model you may want to hold on to it.The demand may make it worth a little more in the futer.I just ordered a P95 from buds but it is the model with the safety not the decocker that I really wanted. Most people would rather have a decocker I think.

$250 against a new gun if it's pristine, $200 if not.

It's not really worth your while trading it.

I'd keep it especially if you don't have another 9x19. You would be very lucky to sell it for $400 or even $350. As for the decocker version being worth more later, I'd doubt it. Ruger centerfire autos don't seem to attract collector interest. I bought a stainless Ruger P85 last year for $200 with hard case, no mag though. The P85 in stainless only was made in 1990 only.

Fwiw

Don't expect any where near $400 from an FFL dealer; more like $225-250
topps in my way of thinking~! In most cases, extra accessories mean very
little to a FFL dealer; and often times, throwing 'em in adds nothing to the
value placed on your firearm~! :(
