Well, I finally got my PF9 back today. And whaddya know? They fixed it!
I was worried when I opened the box, as the work order only said that they replaced the barrel, and i couldn't see how that would cure light strikes and FTE's, but I went ahead and took it out back and shot it. Lo and behold, I shot 200 rounds of a mixture of Remington, Winchester, Prvi, S&B, and Fiocchi ammo without a single malfunction. Perhaps an out-of spec chamber was causing all three issues?
One difference I did notice is that last trip, it came back looking like it had fired one mag, tops. This time it was filthy. There was enough powder residue and copper fouling that I'd believe they put a box though it.
I'm just glad it finally works.
