So I have a POS lorcin.380 that just doesn’t want to fire. Of a full mag of 8 maybe 1 will fire, but all of the rounds will be hit buy the firing pin (all primers will have a dent on them).I have tried cheap (blazer) to expensive rounds with the same results So is it possible to grind the back of the pin so it will stick out a bit further in to the breach (maybe 1/16 more)

I don't know anything about Lorcins specifically, so this may not apply.

I'd try cleaning it real good first. Clean out the channel the firing pin rides in. Make sure the pin isn't bent or otherwise damaged. Clean the breachface.

Check the headspace, if you can.

Ditch the Lorcin all together. I've heard better about Hi-Points, as far as cheap guns go. You might be able to work a trade somewhere.

I agree with rcmodel on replacing the striker spring. A weak striker spring is probably the most common problem with those guns.

You might find, though, that increasing the striker spring tension will result in failures to eject or feed. Believe me, trying to fix those guns is the fast track to lunacy.
