Hello:
I wonder if someone might remember a post from a few years ago, that had some photos showing a very extensive loading, and muffled shooting area with a port cut into a side wall to his outdoor range (all located in the garage)?
As I remember, the poster came from Montana, and hadn't posted much at all, but in the post I'm talking about he must have had 5-7 photos.
There were several Dillon 1000s, 650s 500s, and a couple of Lee press's as well. Also in the photo, inside same garage, was a Jeep (either a CJ-7, or CJ-5).
Some of the photos were showing a panel cut into the side of the garage that opened and closed, allowing him to shoot directly from his garage. It seems to me he had something like 3 berms in increments of 100 yards (out to 300 yds).
His shooting area in the garage was covered in egg crate foam (hospital) padding (that included walls, & ceiling), and had a 3' diameter (estimated size)PVC pipe also padded inside and out with same egg crate foam that had chrono, either inside, or just outside that PVC.
For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the poster, but would like to duplicate his shooting area as soon as I get fully moved to CO.
I believe his photos were impressive enough to stick in our minds, so I'm hoping someone here remembers the post I'm talking about.
If you have the link, please send it to me, so I can get a look at his setup again.
Thank you,
RD
