Your not gonna believe this......but...I have a .54 T/C Renegade that I have killed many many Elk and Deer with....well.....we moved to Europe in 1999.....never used it again, back now, can u believe that????.......today I'd like to use it again ....am I reading things right......54 cal. isn't an approved bullet for Blackpowder seasons in many western states today???? Having trouble finding good intel.........................help me please.
States.....CO, WY, NM, MT...??
 
Generally the regulations set a MINIMUM caliber size for each game animal. I use sidelock .58cals in Oregon. 54cal has never been a minimum size. They might require at least 50cal for elk and 40 or 45 for deer depending on the state. You oughta be OK anywhere you go. If not I'd sure like to know.
