Lighter weight muzzleloader?

I bought a Harrington Richardson Springfield Stalker in 58 cal. on the internet and when It came in the mail I picked up the box and wondered when the rest of the rifle would get here. The only problem is that it kicked worse than an 870 Remington with deerslugs. The d@#n thing gave me headaches while I was sighting it in but I didn't feel a thing when the fur was lined up in the sights.

Oldnamvet, now THAT is a damn good idea. About the 'cane' I'll call it. I never thought about that. Besides, I'vd got a bad foot and that would give me something to lean on while I rest and blow a little bit. I bet that would make a good rest for the CVA. Damn, that's a good idea for an old man like me...Okay...
