I had a big day today!
I'll start with the pistol loads:
Springfield XD-40 4" Barrel / 165 grain Berry's with 6.7 grains CFE pistol
5 shots: 1) 1047 fps, 2) 1050 fps, 3) 1059 fps, 4) 1007 fps, 5) 1077 fps.
This load shoots good.
Taurus Millenium G2 9mm 3.1" Barrel / 5.2 grains CFE-Pistol with 124 grain Berry's FP.
5 shots: 1) 982.4 fps, 2) 1017 fps, 3) 974.5 fps, 4) 960 fps, 5) 1037 fps.
This load shoots good.
Walther PPX 40 4" Barrel / 165 grain Berry's with 7.2 grains Longshot.
5 shots: 1) 1104 fps, 2) 1050 fps, 3) 1085 fps, 4) 1061 fps, 5) 1077 fps.
Walther PPX 9mm 4" Barrel / 124 grain Berry's RN with 5.4 grains BE-86
5 shots: 1) 1137 fps, 2) 1120 fps, 3) 1130 fps, 4) 1123 fps, 5) 1104 fps.
This is pretty much a factory high performance 124 grain load, I like it!
Springfield XD-40 4" Barrel / 155 grain Berry's with 7.7 grains Longshot
5 shots: 1) 1086 fps, 2) 1123 fps, 3) 1117 fps, 4) 1122 fps, 5) 1131 fps
This is a solid middle of the road load.
Rifles:
High Point 40 Carbine 17.5" Barrel / 180 Grain Ranier HP, 7.3 grains Longshot.
5 shots: 1) 1331 fps, 2) 1290 fps, 3) 1307 fps, 4) 1327 fps, 5) 1330 fps.
This thing is a heavy hitter with the 180's!
AR-15 5.56 with 16" Barrel / 55 grain FMJ, 26 grains AA2460, magnum primer.
5 shots: 1) 2908 fps, 2) 3000 fps, 3) 2973 fps, 4) 2978 fps, 5) 2948.
I like this load...its within 30 fps of XM-193 55 grain.
AR-15 / 25.5 grains H-4895, 55 grain FMJ, magnum primer
5 shots: 1) 2911, 2) 2869, 3) 2851, 4) 2863, 5) 2861.
AR-15 / 55 grain XM-193
5 shots: 1) 3036, 2) 2978, 3) 2997, 4) 2981, 5) 2977
Remington 700 SPS Tactical with 20" bull barrel / 168 grain HPBT, 44.2 grains IMR-4895, Remington Case and CCI-300 primer
5 shots: 1) 2559 fps, 2) 2590 fps, 3) 2590 fps, 4) 2592 fps, 5) 2582 fps.
This is where I want to be....knocking on the door of 2600 fps.
All in all, it was an awesome day and I like these loads.
In addition, I did a round of target shooting with each of these loads....probably went through 400 rounds today....that's what I'm talkin' bout!
