Missouri Bullets using HS-6 powder

Missouri Bullets loads using 225 grain Flat HeadTC and 200 grain RNFP IDP# 4-XD, in SA .45 GI Milspec 5"
Powder used HS-6 ,LP CCI MAG 350 primers

225 grain Flat Head TC, OAL 1.195
5 shot groups for average FPS
7.5 grains HS-6 @ 836 FPS
7.7 " " " 840 "
7.9 " " " 850 "
8.1 " " " 879 "
Shot @ 25 yards off a rest 3-1/2" group. I'm 63 bad eyes but I've been shooting and reloading sense 1975:what:

200 grain RNFP IDP#4-XD, OAL 1.220
5 shot groups for average FPS
8.4 grains HS-6 @ 893 FPS
Shot @ 25 yards off a rest 4" group
Bushing on my 45 needs changed out I got the SA used last month.

Any other information on my loads or other good loads not hot loads? :D Gene

I'm also a big fan of HS-6.

Are you using magnum primers with those loads? If not give magnum primers a try, your groups will probably shrink a bit. (or even more)

I ran a ton of HS6 through my 357 Mag, with very good results, but could never get good results through my 45s. A slowish powder that performs well in all my autoloaders, is Power Pistol. From 32s, up to 45s, and everything in between, PP is my go to powder.
