Love my RRA 2 stage trigger!

Cant wait to get out and shoot this thing! Good-by to the grungy CMMT trigger group, that finally broke at probably 6-7lbs, after terrible endless pull. A two stage trigger isn't what I expected. I really didn't know what to expect. Theres a little take up, that wasn't there before, but talk about a nice crisp break! Well worth the $88 bucks.

2 stage triggers are supposed to have take up, that's why they are called 2 stage; a first stage that is light and a second stage that is heavier. Also, 6-7 lbs is not a bad weight for a carbine. The carbine idea is not modeled for precision long range/small target shots which require a good trigger. I suppose it's all perspective.

Well then, my old Ruger P345 has a 2 stage trigger, too.

It wasn't the weight of the old trigger group that was bad, it was the grit

I love my RRA 2-stage too.

I know 2 guys, 1 a master class high power shooter and the other a high master, both of whom use an RRA rather than a Chip McCormick or a Geissele on their main service rifles. It'd be nice if they had a takeup adjustment but the less adjustments, the less things that can go out of adjustment in hte middle of a match.

If you want it to be REALLY smooth, take it to a good gunsmith, one who knows AR triggers, and have it polished. It won't lighten it up any more but it'll break like glass. Shooting it will be like an orgasm for your finger.

I have both McCormik and RRA 2 stage. I prefer the McCormik but th RRA isn't bad at all.
JP triggers in my AR 10s are near perfect.

RRA match grade triggers, if not the best trigger out there, are certainly the best triggers for the money IMO.
