I have done as much research as I can for a long time to find low 30mm scope rings for the Ruger 77 integral mounts.

I really want QD rings about max .25" high to mount a straight tube scope on my rifle and keep it low.

So far, the lowest 30mm or 1" Ruger rings I have found for Ruger are Leopolds but not QD, they are fixed. This is what I am using now but too high.

I have Warne QD's that are nice quality, but ridiculous how high they position the scope. Completely unacceptable.

Have I missed something or has something new come onto the market to get a scope mounted low in 30mm Ruger rings?

And please don't mention the Burris Ruger to Weaver conversion, they position the scope about 1/2" high, worse than the Warnes height. I think I have tried everything but hope there is an option out there.

I feel your pain. The scope rings and weird safety is why I sold my 77 and got an American and ended up with $ still in my pocket.

The Ruger rings, while very good quality and work well, are the worst of the bunch in terms of heights. Not even close to being low enough for a 30mm straight tube scope.

Lowest I have found are the Leopold fixed 30mm rings.

Most folks running 30mm tubes are also using 50mm or larger front objectives. There is probably very little demand for low rings in 30mm.

I wrote the Chairman of Ruger an email about this. If I get a reply I'll post it.
