I have researched 30mm scope rings as much I can see possible.

The aftermarket has totally missed a market opportunity with low 30mm scope rings.

My favorite rings are the Warne and Leopold quick release type rings.

No quality manufacturer has decent low weaver/piccatiny mount rings. They are all way too high even in their low models.

I am running Bell-less straight tube scopes and need them as close to the receiver as possible.

I bet I have spent $500 on rings trying to get where I want starting with the highest quality ones first.

MFI have the absolute lowest 30mm rings made that I can find. Tasco comes in a close second. I have bought both of these and I would hate to use these and expensive rifles and scopes and no clue if they will even hold up.

Does anyone know of quality super low 30mm rings with about 1/16" of an inch from the bottom of the ring to the bottom of the scope saddle like you can get in the 1" Weaver Ring? If so, I am all ears.

when I was trying to go as low as possible for a marlin 336, the lowest 1" rings I could find were the weaver top mounts. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1477113938/weaver-top-mount-weaver-style-rings
but I went with the burris signature because they looked like a better ring. Be advised, that the measurements that midway and places post are not always right. or they are measureing different things. for instance, the burris rings measure from the top of the mount to the center of the tube. so the listed height of .81" is .81in-15mm(.59in) giving you .22 inches. comparable to the leupold pqr rings. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1362122288/leupold-prw-permanent-weaver-style-rings-matte

I don't know the rifle or the bases, but warne's weaver base for the marlin's is about 3/16 lower than everybody else's base. that helps get the scope lower. after that, maybe look into a cheek pad? Far as I know, nobody makes anything super duper low like you are looking for. And I looked.

I don't know the answer but have found that Leupold's catalog/website includes a comprehensive list of mix and match rifles, bases and rings for all kinds of applications. I relied on their mix-N-match list to scope a rifle in low rings and ended up with a perfect cheek weld, bolt & objective clearance.

Sure they're not the best rings but they are of very reasonable quality for a NA hunting application.

Most quality manufacturers can provide dimensions so you don't have buy n try to find out. Did you try TPS? If they don't have to be picatinny, Control will do.
