We need to get a similar conversion kit into the USA/Cali/NY, et al market. Check out Post 11 http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1306658

I find that method of operation very interesting. It makes for thoughtful follow-up shots. It makes a 5-round hunting area-restricted mag maybe more usable/effective ...

It certainly changes the dynamic of the AR style restrictive laws by taking the "semi-auto" out of the equation :)

I see a definite place for such a rifle conversion kit. Or, a newly built configuration. For the folks doing 80% lowers, it could be incorporated from the get go. For those ordering uppers without BCG and CH, if it needs it's own unique bolt carrier, that's an easy substitution :)

Whadda ya think ...

Should Ruger start making these for some markets?

I would go this route instead to comply with their rules.

Neat work round.
Building a co2 driven system would be easy but youd need 12gs and housing, regulator, hosings and 4 way, and or electronics......I dunno, honestly i think id rather have a pump.

OH HEY! thats another neat work around...buffer/return spring housed in the stock?

Not talking about the CO2 system - that's a none starter... Ditto electric, unless you are building a Mini-Gun :D

Talking about the video of the British Southern Gun Company lever-operated straight-pull gas-assisted manual rifle :)

Not getting a entirely new different rifle, although that's always an option...

But converting what you have to step outside the restricted AR-AW thing by making it "non semi-auto" ...
