Lube Handgun Cases

I don't lube handgun cases unless I am running a bunch of new brass. New brass tends to be stickier than tumbled used brass for me, so if I'm doing a LOT of it, I'll lube one out of 10 or 20 cases, just to get a tiny bit in the die.

Lube your handgun cases with OneShot. You do not need to to remove it as it will not ruin powder or primers once dried on the case. There are ton of guys on this forum and elsewhere that do this. If you use a lanolin based product you do have to tumble it off, either wet or dry, but you have to do it. I feel lanolin based is better served on rifle cases myself.

Depends. I've been using lanolin and cool based lube and not tumbling it off. On handguns you don't need much. I put then in a Ziploc and give one or two squirts and work them all around, then let them dry. No issues whatsoever.

I lightly mist case lube on every batch of handgun cases before sizing, regardless of caliber.

It makes it effortless.

And I always tumble after sizing anyway, so it is no extra step for me.
