I should have said wet tumbler. Simple Green shouldn't hurt brass that I know of, but with SS pins in wet tumbler with relatively strong Simple Green solution plays havoc with the rubber liner. It is entirely possible it would be ok with oily but otherwise clean brass, however with dirty brass I just made an enormous mess of my brass that took me awhile to clean. If something like Woolite works stick with that.

"I'm using a lanolin/alcohol mix and just thrown the cases in my dry tumbler, using corn cob, for about 15 mins"

I'm with 9MME on his response. I do exactly this an my Dillon press runs like its on butter.

I use Hornady Unique case lube on rifle cases don't look back BUT, if you want to see something amazing try a little synthetic motor oil. Just put a little on about every 5th or 6th case.

I bought a bottle of Cabelas spray lube so long ago that I've forgotten when it was. It worked so well that I've stuck with that brand and it's still doing it's job. I realise that Cabela's doesn't make it but have no idea who does and don't care. It works and that is good enough for me.

Redding Imperial Sizing Die Wax. You won't believe how well it works, how little is needed & how long that tiny tin will last.

Recently I've moved away from alcohol and lanolin to alcohol and coconut oil. 12:1 ratio, makes sizing buttery smooth and seems to clean up really easy in the tumbler.

I just spray 3-4 squirts in a zip lock with a handful or two of brass then massage them around for a bit. Dump them in a bowl and let the alcohol flash off and go to town. I did about 500 pieces last night with not one issue.
I use the Lee lube 6 parts iso to 1 part lube in this same manner. works great.

make your own. 2oz. of PURE lanolin oil, mixed with 16oz of Heet iso alcohol . works better than any lube on the markets

I use Hornady Unique case lube on my rifle cases. For handgun I use the Hornady One Shot spray even though I have carbide dies; it does make it easier.

I use the lanolin plus 91% alcohol people on here suggested. Seems to be working just great.

Folks usually use the 99% (Or 99.8) stuff, to keep as much water out of the equation as possible.

I have trouble finding the 99% alcohol but 91% is fairly easy to find.
It seems to work fine
