My turret is solid. That nut was on extremely tight....took a breaker bar to get it loose so I could lube the detent ball and to see what it would take to swap turrets. I have a universal decapper, .300 BLK and .223 Rem sizing and seating dies, .300 BLK crimp die, and 9mm Seating and Taper crimp dies. My other turret is bare for now. It is a great press for general decapping, no so good at on the press priming. Not an issue now as I'm using the FA Perfect Prime for 95% or more of my priming. As others, I picked it up when they were cheaper, and used free to me Amazon gift cards to get the cost even lower. Wish I'd been able to grab the $147 deal, but I'd already had mine over a year at that time.
I was having a hard time moving that nut, so I gave up. Breaker bar! that’s tight

, yeah, I raised the Ram to try to lock the turret, sadly, I didn't, and broke the tip off my Lyman 9mm sizing/decapping die. Lyman didn't care...they sent the replacement for free anyway. I told them they shouldn't pay for my stupidity, the rep told me the turret nut shouldn't have been torqued down like that. I don't expect free replacements for my stupid mistakes...but they earn my respect and more business when they do it anyway.

My only question is the advantage of 8 stations over 4: I understand that it would be nice to set up a turret with two calibers, maybe one rifle and one pistol. But if you're only using, say 4 stations for one caliber, then you have to index it another 4 times to get back to the beginning for each round loaded.

Isn't this extra work over using a 4-station press with an extra turret for the other caliber?

Nope. It's not automatic. It has a handle on the side that you turn it with so you can perform operations in any order you wish.

I have 2 fl sets of 223 rem dies plus a 223 neck size die and a fcd in 223. The reason I have that many 233 for sets is that I bought the first set factory crimp die and neck sizer die at a local flea market in a hornandy 3 hole turret head. Proceeded to get a case stuck in the fl sizer so bad that I couldn't get it out do I bought another set of fl dies. Tried to usey neck for but that didn't die the cases enough to fit my AR chamber. I also have 2 set of 243 win, 3006, 7mm08, and 2 sets of 308 win not to mention pistol die sets.

It's not extra work the turret swings both ways.

I wish they made a 12 turret! then I can put 4 loads in there

They probably will eventually, the reloading press race just hasn't made it there yet.

I posted thisostly because there are new members dome looking to get started reloading and we're having trouble finding equipment.
