Be setting up my Lyman 'Tru-Line Jr.' Reloading Press soon...seeking Shell Holders for .45 Long Colt, .38 S&W, and .38 Autocolt, and, of course there are/were many various Shell-Holders for these Presses, usually, having a Numeral stamped on them.

Does anyone have any links to charts showing the relationship of the Shell-Holder Numeral to the Shell it holds?

Or, know the Shell Holder Numerals-Numbers I need for the Cartridges I have in mind?

You are aware that Lyman and others sell an adapter to convert Tru Line shell holders to the more common shell holders. The more modern ones would be a quarter or less of the cost of the "J" type. JFYI. :)

Most reloading manuals have a shell holder chart in them.

Lyman #49 starts on page 455.
Hornady #6 on page 998.
Etc.

Hi loaded round,

Thank you!

No...I was not aware of there being any 'adaptors'...good to know.

Hi rcmodel,

Hmmmmmmmm...I know I sent off for the latest 'Lyman'...no memory on it ever arriving...package might have got set aside unopened...

Good to know that Shell Holder data is represented there.

Much obliged...
