M&P 10mm Holster

Hello all…first post here. Hope it’s in the right spot.
Having trouble finding a holster and wondering if anyone has any insight.

Have a full sized M&P 10mm that I am looking for a holster to fit. It is equipped with a Vortex red dot and a Streamlight TLR-6 light.

have had no luck searching, emailed Galco and nothing available from them.

Anyone here have any advise on something that might fit this setup? Belt or Shoulder would work it’s for the woods and around the farm here not a CCW situation.

Since the 10mm model is new, holster makers may not have updated their lists yet, but I believe the gun is the same frame as the .45 Auto version, so a holster for a .45 with the same barrel length should fit the 10mm model.

My use is all concealed carry, so I don't follow the field/LE trends, so I don't know if your gun/light/optic combination is covered, but for your application, you may want to look at Safariland, or as little as I care for the BlackHawk SERPA, that may be a good application for that holster.

Pretty sure there are holsters that fit anything as long as it wears a particular light. You might look into TLR-6 holsters rather than trying to fit your M&P specifically.

I have a Fricke Gideon Elite. It is an excellent holster. For a straight drop kydex holster, it conceals amazingly well. If he covered all my guns, I'd own one for each of them.

Does anyone have a 10mm they could try in a 9mm m&p holster. I have a gun on order but need the holster in short order for a trip but don't want to buy another I'd the one I have for my 9 will fit it since I like it so much. It's kydex but has adjustable tension screws and have heard people say it should work. Some companies, such as blade-tech have 9/40/45 listed all together and smith has said that their 45 and 10 can share holsters, that's what got me wondering.

I have the Alaska guide creations holster for my xdm. I use mine on my hip belt, but there is webbing on the top part of it that you could rig up to a bino harness. You’d just need a 6 or 8 inch molle strap to connect them together.

Based on your information above, you have a 10mm M&P with a 4.6" barrel. S&W doesn't make a 9mm M&P with that barrel length. In addition to the 10mm/.45 Auto versions simply being bigger all around than the 9mm models, I'd say a 10mm M&P wouldn't fit in a 9mm M&P holster, at least in kydex.

However, a leather or nylon holster may work. Especially if it is an open bottom like a Yaqui or slide holster.

I have the standard loops on my Fricke Gideon Elite, but I know a guy on another forum that had different mounts (I think whatever the G-Code attachment is) put on his Gideon Elite. I don't know if it is something that Fricke typically offers as this guy is a personal friend of Fricke and was local to him.

Dale Fricke holster arrived….excellent fit and carries well on the belt even for a full size 10mm with a light.

Highly recommended for anyone who has a similar situation!!
