I just purchased a .40 M&P, and am now in the process finding myself a new holster. I would very much like an IWB option as well as a OWB holster.

So anybody else carry a full size M&P?

Also I was told that glock 21 holsters fit these just fine, at the gun shop we tried it in a glock 17 holster and it fit pretty well. Does anybody carry it in either a G17 or G21 holster?

Glock 20/21 holsters carry it fine, with one caveat: make sure that the gun will not slide too far into the holster, as this can cause the mag release to be tripped. Most holsters won't allow this, and on the ones that will, there is usually a tensioning screw that you can adjust to make sure it doesn't happen.

I carry mine with uncle mikes Kydex Paddle Holster. I also have one for my glock. Can't beat them for $25.

I carry mine IWB with a Bladetech kydex holster , I am NOT slim by any means . I was totally blown away how comfortable this holster is . Sometimes I use an Uncle Mikes size 5 pancake holster until I can get a Bladetech Paddle one .

im getting the new blackhawk serpa in a few days - ill let you know how it works out

Desantis makes holsters for the M&P including a version made for S&W and sold through the S&W web page store that has the S&W logo embossed on it.

I use the serpa (both belt and Paddle attachments) for my 9mm and like it a lot. Very easy to get a full grip and to actually draw. The release lever becomes second nature and gives great retention.
Relatively good re concealment.

I highly recommend the Bianchi Carry loc series. I have CC'd for the last 11+ years and this is by far my favorite holster.
