M&P CORE + Sig Romeo 1

I'm sure, yet again, I'm the last to figure this out, but they don't go together.

S&W sent 5 adapter plates with the CORE but none match the SIG. (Yes, I know SIG should have considered compatibility, it's not S&Ws fault.)

BUT, now.... I've searched on line and found a SOR1MK012 plate. Problem is a) Some of the pictures show that it's a rear sight replacement which is NOT what I want and others show it mounts in the CORE slot, which is. b) BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM is they want $50 for this little plate. Well it does come with 2 screws.

Anybody else found a cheaper one?

I may just take one of the other plates and get out Mrs Dremel.

Okay. I broke down and got the Sig MK012 mount. The pictures on most dealers pages are wrong. The MK012 is NOT a rear sight mount, but does go in the CORE area.

As to the price. I'm wondering if the SIG is related to GE, because as I learned buying parts for my appliances, they're Generally Expensive.

As long as the mounting plate screw locations do not interfere with the Optics mounting locations. Just toss a plate on on a drill press... least you have several attempts to get it right.
