I am working on a load for the .30 Carbine. I want to use H110 under a 130Gr Cast bullet. I have checked all my manuals and can't find data using a 130Gr bullet and H110 or 2400, can someone point me to some loading data?

Thanks,

130's are too big for a Carbine. Makes for too long an OAL or too much bullet in the case. Try the 110 grain HP's over IMR4227. IMR load are mostly ccompressed loads. Mine likes 14.5 grains but follow the manual, 14.5 is close to max.

My plinking load uses a cast bullet, that with gas check and lube weighs 123 grains (in wheelweight-hardness alloy). They work just fine at 1825 fps.

With a 1-10 twist, even the 130-grain bullets should be more than short enough to stabilize. Load down a bit and a velocity of *maybe* 1750 fps might be in the acceptable pressure zone, using H110 or WW 296.
