Is there a synthetic stock available for the M1 Garand. Just the main stock not the wood on top or up front?

OK... Now you can whip me, beat me, make me feel cheap! But at least answer the question first.

I would like to see a Garand in synthetic furniture. Though I guess I just have to picture a long, magazine-less M14/M1A...

This site even has synthetic Garand stocks in CAMO!!!!!!

Actually, after looking at the site again, the Realtree Camo Garand stocks aren't there anymore.

The 1903A3 are still there, just not the Garands.

But they still have black and woodtech synthetics for Garands...

I put my new SA M1 in the Bell & Carlson stock. I painted the stock first in woodland camo with some Krylon.

I like it, wish a had a digital camera so I could post picks. I plan on getting an "original M1" anyway. I'll leave that one alone. :D

Blasphemous? Who cares? It's your rifle, right? I still have the original wood anyway if I want to put it back on.

It is often said that "one gets what one pays for". I have found this to generaly be true.

What is the difference between the two synthetic stocks that Brownells sells.

One is $196 and the other $69.

They look the same to me. Is there something special about the $196 one that makes it worth the extra $130?
