M1 Garand Correct Grade on the way

I was able to buy one of the last Correct Grade M1s available from CMP. First they told me they were unavailable. I reminded them that I ordered a Collector Grade and that they told me they were out of Collector Grade and would ship me one of the few Correct Grades left. Seems like I waited forever, thinking I would not get it. It finally shipped and I should receive it Monday or Tuesday. I will post a photo when I get it.

My Service Grade order was filled on 9/11 (a bone-dry LEAD rebuild from 65, brand new looking metal), four days before they ran out, and my Correct Grade order has sat there in open status for a month.

I quit checking it...figured I'd get an email any day stating the order would not be filled. Just for ****s and giggles, I checked last night...Processing!.

Now to splain to the wife why I NEED 2 M1's.....cover me.
