    THIS IS NOT A QUIZ
If you don't like M1 Garand Info don't read this. Thanks

    Hi all,
Found Ordnance files from 1936 that some of you might find of interest. The file is a memo to the Chief of Staff G 4 Section War Dept. This memo gives us some data on the requirements from Ordnance as soon as M1 Garands start production. We know that none will be built by production line until Aug. of 1937. The breakdown is as follows:
    " Infantry, R.A. 37,885
    Cavalry, R.A. 7,297
    Com. Engrs. R.A. 4,330
    National Guard 96,320"
Seems high for the National Guard. What do you think?
