A Guess

Hey Clancy,

Firm fixed price and cost plus? I have no f-ing clue on this one and couldn't find a reference to it anywhere.

Gentlemen,
The answer to the quiz is as follows:
Winchester could bid using the equipment for the Educational Order or bid not to use that equipment.

90 Deg Off

Clancy,

Well, I missed that one measured in Astronomical Units!

In looking at your answer, is there any logic to Winchester entering a bid without the Educational Contract equipment? I can't see them moving forward and having to relearn the whole manufacturing process again.

What do you think?

John

johnmcl,
Ordnance and Winchester had a lot of problems during WW2 with te Garand Production. It seems odd but there are files that I have that do make some sence of this orders and will be in Vol. 3. I call it Winchester-Gate
Thanks again
Clancy
