Does anyone out there have a Brass Savr brand brass catcher for their M1A or M14 type rifle? If so, how does it work? Does it actually catch all the brass? It looks like it would be a bit awkward to use, but if it keeps me from throwing my brass down the drain, I'd be willing to use it.

Just as matter of practicality:

I have a brass catcher for my AR (the rifle uses a plunger ejector like the M1A, so it doesn't throw the brass very far at all) and I think I used it once or twice. It's enough trouble to use that I find myself not bothering, plus if you tilt the rifle with a full brass catcher, it can dump empties back into the reveiver, tying up the action.

Now the only time I consider using it is when I'm at an event with other shooting positions close to my right-- just out of politeness to my neighbors.

I was under the impression that M1As were real brass flingers. Is that not the case? I haven't had a chance to shoot mine yet.
