Brief range report: This rifle is a National Match 9102 SAI M1a. Optics setup is the low rail mount from Bassett Machine. The rings are low PRW Leupold rings and the scope is a 3.5-10X Vari-X3 Leupold. Range conditions were good. Wind was light and variable from the West. Humidity was high, Temps around 42 degrees. The first photo is the rifle the second photo was the only group shot for accuracy. Group was shot from a bench using a rifle rest. Ammo was Federal 168 grain Gold Medal Match with the Sierra bullet. My calipers measured the outside center to center to be 1.16 inches The group shows a 5 shot group. 4 of the 5 shots went 0.60 inches. This was shot at 100 meters. I was single loading after the first full mag because I touched off the trigger so light it double tapped. ( I don't think it was a slam fire.) I am very pleased with the rifle I have not ever shot a semi auto this accurate.

Not too bad at all. I prefer a 10 shot group myself. I understand it is important to hold that trigger back after the shot, then let it reset.

Update...
Took the rifle out again today. 220 yds (200m) shot a five shot group from a cold barrel. Same ammo and scope set at 10X. Five shot group formed a box with the lower left shot in the 1" bullseye. Center to center of outside two shots measured 1.8". Rifle is holding sub-moa accuracy out to 200 meters. Might go ahead and try it at 600 one of these days.

Just ordered same mount, being able to take it off and put it back on and be within a click of original Zero according to reports.

Check out M14 Firing Line lot of info there.
