M2 Tactical Barrel for M2 Field?

Pretty much what the title says:

Can you buy an 18.5" M2 Tactical Barrel for the M2 field?

It doesn't look like there are any differences except the barrel, but then the "Parts and Accessories" page didn't list any HD barrels for the M2 field.

I really want an M2 field for hunting, and being able to buy a shorter barrel for the other 300 days a year would be very nice.

Benelli finally replied to my email, so I answered my own question. I'll post it so searchers can find it.

The M2 Tactical 18.5" barrel fits the M2 Field and can be purchased through your local dealer.

If you get a tactical barrel with ghost ring sights, you will need to have the reciever drilled and tapped for the rear half of the ghost rings.

Just something to keep in mind.

Also, let us know how much they want for that barrel, and whether financing is available.

Like Hoser mentioned, it might be easier to get the tactical first and then get a longer barrel if you want ghost ring sights.

I did that with the M1 . . . I can unscrew the rear sight from the receiver and throw on the long barrel without any trouble.

I'd also suggest looking for a used setup. Those barrels are pricey, but if you get lucky you might find someone selling their used Tactical/hunting conversion setup. That's what I lucked into.
