I'd like to mount a cheekpad on the collapsible stock of my AR, but it looks like the ones available won't work with my 3-point sling. Has anyone found a combination that will work?

Mine will not work either.......
I bought one of the First Samco cheek piece set up, and found that it will not work on a CAR stock unless you do a little cuttin' and pastin'.
It looks to be made for the M4 stock. I just added a Spec Ops 3 point sling to that CAR, and I don't see how the 3 point would work with the cheek piece thingey. I have a single point on my 16" HB Mid Length, but it has an Ace fixed stock on and I don't want to change it. I was thinking that some para cord could be added to the butt stock to attach a sling, but, as I said, it will require some cutting and drilling.
And, forget about using a butt pouch to hold a spare mag with the cheek piece thingy. Nothing is going on the stock after the cheek piece thing is installed.:banghead:

I don't know how you guys run your stocks in use; but the cheekpads often interfere with use of the charging handle if you like to run the stock in one of the first or second positions.
Thanks. I just put an Eotech on last night. I haven't had a chance to shoot it in yet. After adjusting the reticle to point of aim using my Arms #40 A2 BUIS, then looking through the optic with the Arms lowered, I realized that my natural eye level put the reticle square on the bottom of the front sight blade. If I raised my eye about .5 inch the reticle floats right above the top of the front blade. I played around with this and found if I just shifted my cheek against the butt the reticle was perfect, so I am going to practice this and forget about the cheek pad, which sounds like a P.I.T.A.
