M4 Rifle Questions

I own two M4s. One is a RRA M4 Flattop with a flip up rear sight and a standard front sight. The Bushmaster sights are set up the same way. Here are my questions:

1. Can I remove the front sight and replace the front sight with a "gas Block" and a flip up front sight?
2. How hard is this to do and how will it cost?
