Last year I decided to convert one of my Swedish M96 Mausers into a repro M41B Swedish sniper rifle for the CMP vintage sniper matches. That rifle was completed and is a very good shooter.

Ironically, shortly after my gunsmith started the project, I got a killer deal on the genuine article, an actual M41B Swedish Mauser sniper rifle, sometimes called the "Arctic Predator".

Here are some auction pics:

and here are a few after it arrived.

Thanks, guys!

Right now it shoots to the left, off the target...the windage adjustment is in the scope base. As soon as I figure it out, I'll post a range report

Mustang 51: Very cool Mauser.
Some were probably smuggled from Sweden into Norway during WW2.

"Katherina Vikor WW2 Norwegian guns". YouTube .
You might also enjoy what the Norw. underground used, as opposed to the mostly neutral Swedes.

My apology, I had the impression months ago that she and her father owned some WW2 rifles used by the underground-but they don't display any.
