Typo, a local guy has a "Maadi" for sale. "AK" is an AK clone. Most us know this, as none are select-fire. Anyway--
Noticed that Atlantic Firearms sold these recently (now "Sold out"), but with a Nodak Spud receiver--although known to be a quality component--this means that the only major original Egyptian part is the barrel,
if the op rod is also US-made, does it not? I doubt that even the trigger group is original.
If so, it seems to be merely a legalistic marketing tactic that so many AK clones are labeled as Hungarian, Polish, Egyptian etc. This might exclude Chinese Mak 90s imported before the import ban, as the trigger I just tried has parts highly-polished by the Chinese.
