need .357 mag and .44 mag brass, how good is mag-tech brass compared to win .rem. for no. of reloads, mag pressures and longevity
For the two cartridges you mention, I'd buy once fired off of one of the forums, such as this one. On the .357, you can even use .38 special brass for practice loads. No real need to buy new brass and overly expensive to boot for no really good reason. The once fired will last plenty long enough and work just fine. Better yet, if possible, pick up brass yourself at the range you shoot at. That way, it's free.
I use the Mag tech in 45 Colt and ACP not as hot as your loads but some are stout. I haven't lost a piece yet from splitting.
I did see a guy shoot a 44 mag out of his 45 colt (miss boxed) it bulged but didn't crack.
