I was told by my dad that he heard Ithaca was bringing back the mag10.. Does this hold true.. I shoot an sp10 and is love to see them back in production !

It seems unlikely as Remington bought the rights to it in 1989.
It was used as the basis for development of the Remington SP-10 still in production.

What parts on the sp10 wear out or break.. I know Remington will only carry parts for 10 yrs after they discontinued the model..also what year did they discontinue

I have no indication Remington SP-10's do though.
The Remington SP-10 has not been discontinued.

The old Ithaca company that made the Mag-10 went broke and closed up in 1985.
Remington SP-10 parts are available today from Remington.
But they do not fit the old Ithaca Mag-10 guns.

I talked to Remington a few months ago when I replaced the bolt buffer.. They said they no longer make the sp10. Unless they decided to make them again

They still seem to have them on their website.
Maybe yours is an early model and they no longer make parts for it??

Nah I wouldn't say an early model.. Just the satin one in 26inchbarrel.. Has the parts I needed.. They told me the discontinued it for lack of sales and also hadnt had anyone call in a long time for parts.. Lol funny thing , everyone I talked to there about it said they owned one themselves personally and raved about them..

Sorry ill explain .. I own a sp10. The other night we were all talking and I had heard that Ithaca was gonna make the mag10 again . I assumed they were the same gun under different names. When I had originally bought the sp10.. I got it at a really good deal and was told it was hanging up a lil bit when feeding the last few times it was used.. I took it and tore the whole gun down to do a detailed cleaning as it had never been cleaned and it has been shot a bit In It's life but not in the last 10 yrs...well I found a half broken part on the bolt.( bolt buffer). So I called Remington to order the part.. Parts guy said he hasn't had a call for an sp 10 in a long time and that the model was discontinued but they still have parts available for it .. I ordered what I needed from them and gun has worked great since..I'm just curious about the future of it.. I saw your link seems its still on Remington's website but no price for them.. Just trying to find out what's goin on with them
