".... cyber and communications infrastructure...."

How is an amendment on firearms magazines related to cyber and
communications infrastructure?

Or would we have to pass it to find out what's in it?

I say let's pass it up.

Since when has an amendment had to be related to the bill in question? I've always said someone should sneak in a repeal of 922r or Hughe that way.

I mean you got carry in National Parks from a Credit Card Bill.

Current news reports are saying that the evil Republicans have succeeded in shooting the bill down (with scant mention of the magazine/ammunition amendment) and that it won't likely see the light of day until after the November election, if then. Pending convermation I don't think we have anything to worry about now. After the election is another matter. :uhoh:

You mean... you mean the junior high school presentation "How Bill became a law" was... sob... a lie?

Looking in the Congressional Record, it looks like there were two cloture votes. One that passed and one that did not. Apparently they agreed to limit amendments to only germane amendments (no guns) but I am not 100% on that.
