I have been looking for an extra mag for a Star Model P .45 (not "Super P"), for over two years. It has the recessed (that I call flush) mag, while the Super P has the flush (which I call extended) mag. If the Super P mag will work, I don't care if it sticks out from the grip frame. I'd appreciate any help.
If I'm on the wrong thread, please advise. Thanks
PS - the 1911 mag fits in the mag well, but the Star P's catch hole on the mag is not in the same place. Do you know of a gunsmith who can convert a 1911 mag to fit my Star Model P ?
