Hello all -
I own a colt cadet .22 (also known as a colt 22 automatic). I love this pistol but am starting to experience failures to feed. Since I have only the original magazine I want to purchase additionas ones to see if this solves the problem. However, they are hard to find and very expensive when I find them.

I've read that 3rd gen (and maybe 2nd gen) colt woodsman mags fit the cadet; I've also read that Beretta NEOS mags work. which came as a bit of a surprise.

Does anyone know if all of this (or some of it) is accurate? Thanks very much!

You can get them on GunBroker. I have seen them for as little as $49 each.

Thanks for the reply. I checked Gunbroker last evening and the cheapest Cadet mag (among very few) was $98. Ebay was similar. This is what prompted my research for other options and my question, as some of my research results were contradictory, as usually happens...

Yeah, it has been a few months.

Neos mags absolutely work in the Colt Cadet pistols.
Received the neos mags. absolutely identical. Interesting as to why Beretta would copy the colt mags. Only difference is that one must slap the neos mags home to get past the extractor in the Colt, and they do not drop freely, as the Colt mag does.

Have not fired yet but will report after I go to the range.
