A few weeks ago I watched the Dynamic Pistol video hosted by Chris Costa and his beard for Magpul. Part 1 was about 90 minutes and Part 2 another 35. I saved the links and went back to watch it again during our "blizzard" and both videos are no longer available. Although lengthy, they were both good videos highlighting very practical skills and nicely done. Good learning video for some, good refresher for others. Does anyone know if they were put up as a tease or promo and pulled down to encourage sales or were they pulled for some other reason?

I'm nearly certain there was a Magpul commercial prior to the start of the video. I didn't pay specific attention to the source but it seemed to be there legitimately. Clear, HD video and all that. I don't like piracy either which is why I posted my question. I was curious if anyone knew for certain if it was pirated or pulled for other reasons.

A whole run of the Magpul vids (including the tactical carbine ones) were posted and subsequently pulled because of copyright violations. Assuming this is the same.

They were HD rips of the DVDs, including all added featurettes...

It had to be Magpul pulling them. Youtube surely can't have an issue with gun related videos because there are about 25 million of them on there.

If I was a betting man, they were pirated and posted. The Magpul teasers for the videos are about 4-5 minutes long. Also based on your description that's most of the entire Dynamic Pistol DVD set (I own it).

benEzra if you're refering to the Carbine videos, Vol 1 part 1 covers a lot of basics and follows a basic carbine class from start to finish. Part 2 follows a more advanced class doing different drills. Vol 2 follows a more advanced class for a 2 day (I think, it might be three) day advanced rifle school. The videos are basically in order of skill level with V1p1 being the basics and advancing from there.

Until recently just about every AGI Gunsmithing Video was on YouTube. Now they just have the teasers up. Kinda like the Magpul videos I'll bet they were there without permission.

While we are on Magpul Dynamics, has anyone attended their classes?? Where is it that they are located?? And do they teach a more civilian shooter/defense class or a more martial offensive shooting class?? Does anybody know?? Thanks!!
