Bought most of them at the BX here, but their price went up nearly $1 in January. Prior to that they were $12.46, IIRC with no shipping or sales tax.
Online I buy them from DSG Arms almost exclusively. With a mil discount $11.51 for black and FDE and $11.21 for FG and OD. I don't remember what shipping ran but I usually place a pretty big order with them when I buy so it works out to a tiny amount per mag.
I like the windowed 30 rd pmag. Make sure you ask whoever you buy them from if they are revsion "M" , these alow you to store the dust cover on the bottom of the mag. when not in use. The other versions do not. I ordered a couple from Larue with my scope mount order and they were the earlier version/ sent them back.
I wanted to use the 20's for National Match competition.
CMP's rules for EIC events require you to slingshot the charging handle on a loaded mag (loaded with just TWO ROUNDS) while you are in the sitting or prone position for the rapid-fire stages of the match.
From that firing position, I have a bolt-over-base (aka bolt override) incident with the 20-round PMAG's about 50% of the time in the two rifles I've tested. One rifle is a Colt, the other a Bushmaster. Neither gun demonstrates any problems whatsoever when a G.I. aluminum mag is used.
The 30 round PMAG's don't demonstrate this malfunction in the limited testing I've applied. I don't use 30-rounders anyway for National Match shooting.
Can't recall any stoppages with 30 round PMags, have had stoppages with 20 rounders (well, singular -- I only own one, and it's had issues on more than one occasion).
I've had one bad 30 rd window mag and a 20 rd mag that I only use for benching guns due to problems it's exhibited in the past. Otherwise mine all run great. Can't say the same for the two HK mags I have - nothing but garbage there.
I have shot thousands of rounds through my 30 round in my AR and I have a buddy who has done the same. I also have a buddy who has shot a couple hundred through a 20 round AR10 with no issues. You can't go wrong with them.
